AThe Minister of Health, Mr. Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil, met in Shenzhen, China, with Hao Wu, President of Mindray, a leading medical technology company, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in developing healthcare services in the Kingdom.

During the visit, His Excellency discussed opportunities for cooperation in health stores, with discussions focusing on key themes that included localization and transfer of technology and knowledge, building flexible supply chains, and creating local job opportunities that contribute to the national economy.
He then witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Mindray and the Saudi National Unified Purchasing Company (NUPCO) to strengthen the bilateral partnership in the fields of research and development and medical innovation.
At the end of the visit, Al Jalajil emphasized the importance of international cooperation, welcoming the efforts of national institutions to collaborate with their international counterparts, noting that by adopting innovative solutions, the best health care can be provided to the community.
The Minister of Health was accompanied by a delegation that included Saudi business leaders and officials from the Ministry of Health and the health system.
